The Active Shooter Breaching Kit has been designed and manufactured

This
Breaching Kit is designed to counter the tactics being used by active shooters.
The active
shooter is no longer entering a location and opening fire. Active shooters are now locking, and chaining doors shut,
this keeps victims in and Law Enforcement out. This kit is designed to provide the patrol officer the fastest methods
to breach and enter any location. The kit is made to be carried over the shoulder like a quiver. The user
may transition from a long gun to hand gun without obstruction. The front strap has a 2 inch quick release buckle so
that the kit can be taken off quickly. The front strap has five loops for 12 gauge shotgun breaching rounds so that
a locked door may be breached quickly. On the back is a standard, 8 pound sledge hammer. The hammer may be used as a
ram or hammer to breach a door or wall. Next 16 inch Halligan tool, combined with the hammer to open doors or used
alone to open windows and "rack" any window covering out of the way of your vision. Under the hammer and halligan
bar is a 24 in bolt cutter. Cutting the chain is safer and faster for push bar doors that are chained
shut than trying to shoot the hinges off. This kit may also be used for a verity of regular patrol duties.
It is cost effective, and most fire departments use the same type of tools for forcible entry so training cost is minimal.
